Vocabulary, best way to remember new words

Our brain can not be an English dictionary. Sometimes, we even forget words that we have learned several days before.
Each of us has a technique to remember new words but we don't know which is the most effective technique.
Here we have a playground with lots of member skilled in speaking English.
